The aromas are particularly expressive in this rather hot vintage, with stone fruit such as apricot or vine peach, evolving to floral notes of acacia blossom and aniseed. Good balance in the mouth, fresh, fruity and round, with a delicious minerality which is the signature of this wine from one vintage to the next. Softly oaky and very harmonious finish which remains superbly fresh in spite of the heatwave conditions of the vintage. A blend from 6 different fields.

    White wine of pale gold with green highlights denoting youth. Clean and bright. Intense aromas of white and yellow fruit, with a background of freshly cut grass and aniseed finish. Fresh entry with many different flavors of yellow fruit such as peaches or apricots and white fruits like pears. Nice finish, spicy and mineral. 65% Viogner (vines are approximately 18 years old). 30% Garnache a Blanc (vines are approximately from 15 to 80 years old). 5% Chenin Blanc (vines are approximately 15 years old).

The palate retains the squeezy, juicy nature suggested by the nose. This is fun drinking, a plump appeal at its heart, the length sound, too. It finishes clearly, some nuttiness there.

    It is pleasantly fresh with a hint of green apple and delicate white jasmine flowers. It is a wine that adapts wonderfully to any type of cuisine thanks to the rich mineral content of the wine. This wine, with great elegance, a pleasant bouquet and structure, is a classic example of Vernaccia that “kisses, licks, bites and stings”, as described in one of his poems by Michelangelo Buonarroti.

  • Falchini AB Vinea Doni


    Produced from the Casale property owned vineyards in San Gimignano, the “Ab Vinea Doni” (Latin, “gifts from the vineyard”) is made with a hand selection of Vernaccia (95%) and Chardonnay (5%) grapes. The vinification is carried off the skins, soft pressing the grapes. The fermentation and refining take place in small French oak barriques for about 5 months in a temperature-controlled room. Once bottled, it completes its refining for a few more months before leaving the winery as required by the DOCG regulation.

  • Falchini Vigna A Solatìo...


    FROM THE BEST VERNACCIA GRAPES Produced by Solatio vineyards in Casale in Saint Gimignano , the wine is made from a careful selection of the best Vernaccia grapes. The wine is fermented and aged in 225 l oak barrels for 5/6 months. After bottling, it is aged for another four months before leaving the cellar.

  • GambalWork Bentrock Chardonnay

    Bentrock is naturally a more powerful and rich wine yet is not heavy. Adjectives are dangerous things but if we see Francesca as linear and elegant we can say that Bentrock is explosive, fuller in the mouth but finishes in the same place. Bentrock has a stone fruit personality dominated by ripe peaches and apricots along with a wonderful backbone of acidity that supports and transports these flavors in the mouth.     Francesca has what we call a “cool” profile that is dominated by a flinty nose followed by white flowers. Its attack is subtle but builds, fills the mouth and is linear in nature. The wine’s natural salinity awakens your taste buds and one can imagine this with hard cheeses or with a main dish such as seared scallops.
