Château de Lancyre La Coste d'Aleyrac

A magical setting where Syrah, Grenache and Carignan ripen for this delicious cuvée. Aleyrac is a magnificent little 12th century Romanesque chapel located in the middle of the vineyards.
Here the environment is magical, the walker will stop there in a real haven of peace. Quietly, in the shade of the hundred-year-old plane trees, he can soak up the scents of this beautiful Mediterranean scrubland, lulled by the sweet melody of the cicadas.

This 2019 vintage experienced exceptionally low rainfall in Pic Saint Loup, 560mm.
A mild winter and a dry spring contributed to the excellent health. The start of the summer was marked by an intense heat wave on June 28th. The storm of September 10th was providential, it made it possible to correctly complete the maturities and rebalance the berries.
For this particularly dry 2019 vintage, the Pic SaintLoup sector fared well with decent yields and a good balance.

Degustation: Deep red hue. The nose exudes notes of black cherry and rose on first pour then reveals aromas of black olive, liquorice and spice after swirling.
The palate is full and fleshy and delivers flavours of black olives and candied liquorice with a long, fresh finish and elegant tannins.

Blend: Syrah (50%) - Grenache (40%) - Carignan (10%)
